Private Mooring Fees:

 

Moorings are structures placed on the sea bed consisting of an anchor (often a concrete or steel mooring block), chains, rope and a buoy at the surface of the water.  Cruisers often tie their boats to a mooring because of its convenience and often times its cost.

 

Private moorings are not available in all of the countries interviewed; however those countries in which they have been are listed below:  Table 6a provides the average cost of a mooring per night in US Dollar in the countries with the service available:
